My car has been in the shop for the past two days. I am completely home bound! This is about the time that I miss living closer in. I've been passing the time by getting on the Internet, taking multiple walks, and cleaning the house. And oh yes, catching up on horrible television. Really exciting. Anyhow, I am ready to have my car back. I didn't know how much I missed it until it was actually gone. When I didn't have access to my car downtown it was totally fine. Mass transport and close walking distance made it easy. Now that we live out here in Santa Clara it's a much different story. I can walk to the coffee stand and 7-11. I can walk to Freddy's but it's quite a haul for someone who's 9 months pregnant.
This just makes the case for the EMX to make its way out River Road. Right? I mean, I could easily get downtown, and downtown people could easily get to Lone Pine Farms. Win/win! I can take the bus right now, but it would take me forever to get where I need to go. And I'm not in the mood to sit around and wait. So my vote is for EMX to come out to Santa Clara. It really needs it! Plus, EMX rhymes with DMX. Bonus.
